ORDER PROCESS
On this page we are sharing with you some details about the process of your order from the moment we receive it
till it reaches you,how all it`s done.
For orders that are ready made,the process is shorter.
We just pack it nicely for you and ship it within 1-3 working days.
For custom made orders the process is longer,but as well more special.
The explanation below includes the production process,
which of course ready made items have also been trhough.
RECEIVING THE ORDER AND COMMUNICATING WITH THE CUSTOMER
After your order has been received we would comunicate with you.
Please make sure you check your email in case we need to confirm some details or discuss a design,
a coin to be used or simply inform you about your order status and send you a tracking number.
Custom Work can be done on a coin of your choice depending on the uncut coins availability on our side.
You can also send your own coin to be cut.You`ll find our shipping address on the bottom of our FAQ page.
In case we don`t have the coin you want we will suggest anothe coin/s that may fit your requirements.
You may send us n image of the design you want or a rough scatch of your idea and we will send you back a finished image.
In case you need more ideas and feel like sharing with us the story behind it,the occasion,something about the person receiving it or what it needs to represent we will give you a few ideas to choose from and also draw it for you to see how it would look on the coin.
POLISHING THE CHOSEN COIN
After the coin has been chosen and confirmed we proceed to polishing.
If we need to show you a few coins to choose from we would polish them before that.
If it is an antique coin we only polish it on your request.
Some like the rustic look and all the history prints left on it.
So we let you choose that too.
DESIGNING
The desinging process starts with comfirming with the customer or making clear the idea which we have on mind for our new product.Then we draw the image,write the text or whatever the design includes by using a fine marker.
The designing is always done by hand and we try to be as precise as a human hand can get,
and of course you always have that feel of a handcraft touch.
CUTTING THE COIN
After designing we proceeed to the cutting process.
Time,patience,preciseness and care are much needed here.
The basic tool is a thin hand operated saw.
We also use two magnifying glasses to ensure detail preciseness and accuracy.
FILING THE EDGES
Now that the coin has been cut there a some rough edges that need atention.
We gently file all edges and holes for a smooth and pleasant to the touch finish.
FROM COIN TO A JEWELRY PIECE
Each coin can be done into several types of jewelry pieces:
necklace,bracelt,earrings,ring or even a puzzle.
We ads the loops,locks and additional supplies needed to create the jewelry piece.
For all our puzzles we provide handmade boxes.
We use recycled wood and glass pieces for the top so one can see the puzzle while it is in the box.
On the inside we use pieces of local "kitenge" material.
For all pendants we add a handmade thread to make it a necklace that one can wear straight away.
We also have silver and stainless steel chains available on request.
Soon to be added as an option on purchase.
PACKING
All coin products are paacked as gifts in a small bag.
We offer free gift service by adding a handmade card with message of your choice.
Let us know in advance in case you want us to do so.

After everything is said and done we proceed to shipping.
